Yoni Painting Workshop

In this workshop we set sacred space, connect with our bodies through movement and then do the brave work of  taking a teeny tiny peek in the mirror…  This prepares us to continue our creative process with our art materials.  We sit in circle to shower ourselves with love and appreciation for the most intimate area of our bodies and go over the 9 different anatomy types from the book, Sexual Practices of the Quodoushka. It’s a very enlightening subject as it lets us see how vastly different we all are, and 9 is just the tip of the iceberg as the reality is no vulva… is the same. We then go to our own private space and with our hand mirrors observe and appreciate without judgment. Only curiosity.  You choose one of the 9 anatomy types that closest resembles what you witnessed in the mirror, this enables you to trace your anatomy type with detail, over fabric. Each participant uses Yute or Hemp Fabric to paint and color.  Choose colors that call out to you, bedazzle and add whatever your heart desires. There is no right or wrong in the creative process. Many participants have created a variety of wild yonis. Lastly, we go over different ways to enshrine your artwork- as it is a sacred process.
